Leslie Gibo is the Organizational Development and Training Manager for Hawaiian Telcom. She oversees the development and delivery of soft skills and leadership training; and manages the HT Training Academy. Prior to joining Hawaiian Telcom, Leslie was the Vice President of Operations for a Technology company, and previously spent 24 years in the Real Estate industry managing operations, sales, training, recruiting, and marketing. Leslie previously served as the Vice President of Professional Development and Events for ATD Hawaii in 2014.
Therese Dickerson is Senior Vice President and Manager of the Organizational Development at Bank of Hawaii. She is responsible consultation to the organization’s leadership on organizational change, change engagement and communication, workforce planning, performance management, leadership and learning and organizational development. She designs, develops and delivers leadership (e.g., leadership development, talent management, succession planning, etc.), learning, and engagement programs that support organizational needs and delivers on organizational objectives. The Talent Development department reports to her and she was also the first ASTD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) in the State of Hawaii.
Christy Valledor is the Senior Performance & Learning Specialist at HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union. Her responsibilities include: eLearning and video instructional design, facilitation of service, sales & leadership classes, and managing the LMS. Prior to joining HawaiiUSA, Christy worked for the Sullivan Family of Companies as a Corporate Trainer and for Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas as the Casino Marketing Supervisor. Christy also serves as the 1st VP of Education for FEAH (the Financial Education Alliance of Hawaii).

Cori Chang is a Change Management and Organizational Development Consultant for Business Solution Technologies (BST), a Hawaii-based corporation that provides strategic, operational and technology solutions for Hawaii’s largest Human Resources, Education and Healthcare organizations. Cori’s responsibilities include guiding clients through the change transition of corporate restructuring, business process reengineering and large information technology projects. Prior to joining BST, Cori worked with Kaiser Permanente and Hawaii Permanente Medical Group to improve organizational effectiveness by aligning strategy with goals, developing standardized processes and facilitating cultural change. Cori has been involved with ATD for over 20 years.
Tiffany S. Chang
VP of Finance
Tiffany Chang is currently the Learning and Development Coordinator at Hawaii Permanente Medical Group where she coordinates professional development, leadership and communication programs for the physicians and administrative staff. She previously worked as a HR Team Leader at Target and a Corporate Trainer in the Leadership and Employee Development Department at Bank of Hawaii. With her bachelors degree in Psychology, and a passion for helping others develop, she brings a diverse perspective to the ATD board. This is Tiffany's third term as the VP of Finance for ATD Hawaii.

Jacqueline Murai-Pedersen is the Training Manager for Aloha Petroleum, Aloha Island Mart, and Shell. Prior to embarking on her T&D career path with Pacific Training & Development, she managed a high risk pregnancy clinic, worked in Tourism, and had the opportunity to work at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. ATD was such a great experience the first year, so she has signed on for another year.

Virginia Okamoto is Executive Assistant at Hospice Hawaii where she provides innovative support to the President & CPO, senior management and staff by integrating and leveraging her diverse background and experience to advance Hospice Hawaii’s mission. Prior to her current role, she spent over eight years in recruiting, staffing and talent development coast to coast, helping to open a Fortune 500, staffing firm office in Southern California. With over 20 years of experience in for-profit and non-profit arenas--including private club membership, health advocacy, finance, public policy and film, Virginia is an avid listener and learner with a passion to engage with people and create long-term value through talent development. Virginia holds a bachelor degree in History from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

George Higbie is a veteran in the field of organizational development and training with over fifteen years of experience in diverse settings, including the federal government, higher education, international academic accreditation, as well as in the for-profit sector. He holds two master’s degrees, one in Organizational Communication and one in Hispanic Linguistics. His specializations include organizational research, leadership development, adult learning, and e-learning development. In addition to his formal education, he also holds certifications in corporate training and development, designing learning, e-learning development, and flash development and has extensive training in survey methods from the United States Census Bureau and the Joint Program for Survey Methodology.
Mr. Higbie believes that the best organizational interventions are needs-centered and culture-based and are most effectively driven by utilizing blends qualitative and quantitative approaches. Additionally, he is well known for having a highly interactive and engaging style and being able to build strong relationships across organizational boundaries. This can most readily be seen in his training delivery methods, which are highly inclusive and collaborative.
VP of Technology
Andrew Muccio is an Instructional Design Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. He has worked on instructional design projects for NASA, the Department of Justice, and the Office of Personnel Management. He currently is tasked with developing curricula for the United States Army at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Andrew is very interested in integrating technology to produce meaningful learning solutions.
