ASTD Hawaii Chapter Leadership

Therese Dickerson 


Therese Dickerson is Senior Vice President and Manager of the Leadership and Employee Development at Bank of Hawaii, and is responsible for the development of the Learning and Development strategy, manages the Leadership Review process and consults to senior leaders on their specific development needs.  Therese also manages corporate-wide projects, designs and develops courses, and conducts training and performance improvement needs analyses.  She was also the first ASTD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) in the State of Hawaii.


Dina Tsuda

Past President

Dina Tsuda is the Training Manager of Title Guaranty of Hawaii, a locally owned and family runned escrow and title company. She is responsible for the overall company learning strategy and specializes in instructional design, elearning and LMS administration. Prior to her current role at Title Guaranty, Dina worked as a Learning and Development Consultant for Business Solution Technologies (BST), a Regional LMS Administrator for Kaiser Permanente and as a HR Supervisor at Title Guaranty of Hawaii. Dina has been serving the ASTD community as a board member since 2007, ranging from the VP of Records to the Past President role. She believes ASTD Hawaii has helped to shape her career and build life-long relationships with other learning and development professionals.


Christy Valledor 


VP of Marketing and Communications

Christy Valledor is the Senior Performance & Learning Specialist at HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union. Her responsibilities include: eLearning and video instructional design, facilitation of service, sales & leadership classes, and managing the LMS. Prior to joining HawaiiUSA, Christy worked for the Sullivan Family of Companies as a Corporate Trainer and for Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas as the Casino Marketing Supervisor.  Christy also serves as the 1st VP of Education for FEAH (the Financial Education Alliance of Hawaii).




Cori Chang


VP of Records


Cori Chang is a Change Management and Organizational Development Consultant for Business Solution Technologies (BST), a Hawaii-based corporation that provides strategic, operational and technology solutions for Hawaii’s largest Human Resources, Education and Healthcare organizations. Cori’s responsibilities include guiding clients through the change transition of corporate restructuring, business process reengineering and large information technology projects. Prior to joining BST, Cori worked with Kaiser Permanente and Hawaii Permanente Medical Group to improve organizational effectiveness by aligning strategy with goals, developing standardized processes and facilitating cultural change.  Cori has been involved with ASTD for over 20 years.




Leslie Gibo


VP of Events/ Professional Development



Leslie Gibo is the Organizational Development and Training Manager for Hawaiian Telcom.  She oversees the development and delivery of soft skills and leadership training; and manages the HT Training Academy.  Prior to joining Hawaiian Telcom, Leslie was the Vice President of Operations for a Technology company, and previously spent 24 years in the Real Estate industry managing operations, sales, training, recruiting, and marketing.





Tiffany S. Chang


VP of Finance

Tiffany Chang is currently the HR Team Leader at Target where she manages a team to fulfill the operational needs of the store. She previously worked as a Corporate Trainer in the Leadership and Employee Development Department at Bank of Hawaii. With her bachelors degree in Psychology, and a passion for helping others develop, she brings a diverse perspective to the ASTD board. This is Tiffany's second term as the VP of Finance for ASTD Hawaii.


Andrew Muccio


VP of Technology

Andrew Muccio is an Instructional Design Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. He has worked on instructional design projects for NASA, the Department of Justice, and the Office of Personnel Management. He currently is tasked with developing curricula for the United States Army at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Andrew is very interested in integrating technology to produce meaningful learning solutions.
